As the Official Airline, Singapore Airlines’ sponsorship agreement with the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) will see it providing air tickets, facilitating the handling of airfreight carrying Games-related equipment from SYOGOC’s international partners, and publicising the event through its proprietary media channels, like SilverKris magazine, Priority magazine, SilkWinds magazine and the inflight entertainment system, KrisWorld.

Promoting the Games through the Group’s extensive network of 97 destinations in 39 countries will mean greater visibility and buzz for the event, while key officials travelling for the Games will be able to experience Singapore Airlines’ world-class service.

Some 5,000 athletes and officials from 205 National Olympic Committees are expected to attend the Games – which will run from August 14-26 – along with more than 500,000 spectators.
